Luminary College Achieves 98% WAEC Pass Rate in 2024
Our Class of 2024 has achieved an unprecedented 98% pass rate in the 2024 WAEC examinations, with 72 students earning distinctions across all subjects.
We are immensely proud to announce that the Luminary College Class of 2024 has achieved a historic 98% pass rate in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). This outstanding result places us at the top of secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory.
A total of 72 students earned distinctions (A1 grades) across core subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics. Principal Dr. Adaeze Okonkwo attributed the success to the dedication of both students and teaching staff.
"This result is the culmination of years of focused effort, early preparation, and a commitment to excellence that defines the Luminary spirit," Dr. Okonkwo said at the results announcement ceremony.
The school will hold a special awards ceremony to honour high-achieving students next month.
