State-of-the-Art STEM Laboratory Officially Launched

Luminary College unveils its new N150 million STEM laboratory complex, featuring robotics, coding, and advanced science facilities.

Luminary College officially launched its new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Laboratory Complex on Thursday, representing an investment of over N150 million in educational infrastructure.

The facility includes:

- Advanced Physics & Chemistry Labs — equipped with modern analytical instruments - Biology & Agricultural Science Lab — with live specimens and greenhouse - Computer Science & Coding Lab — 60 workstations with fibre-optic internet - Robotics & Electronics Workshop — with industry-standard equipment - Digital Media Studio — for multimedia and ICT projects

The complex was officially commissioned by the FCT Minister of Science and Technology. Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister commended the school's commitment to equipping students with 21st-century skills.

Principal Okonkwo noted: "In the global economy our students will enter, STEM literacy is not optional — it is essential. This laboratory is our commitment to ensuring Luminary graduates are competitive on the world stage."
